Usually I'll just put as many binder clips as I can in there and make the fleece as tight and natural to the floor as possible. They tend to ignore it then. I would not recommend towels since they hold the urine and smell bad fast. 3. I'm not sure. Uhaul pads are the best and cheapest option, in my opinion. 4. Anti-pill fleece is the way to go.
