WebI've recently been reading on jacking points for this car since there seems to not be much great guidance in the manual besides the four pinch welds the OP mentioned. These work well for jacking but makes it kind of hard to place jack stands while using the same points to lift the car with the floor jack. It really annoys me that my 25yo car has pinch weld jack points on all 4 corners AND a front AND a rear jack point yet the RS doesn't. OP, if you are planning on doing more work on your car, a set of jack rails would be a good investment.
