We were based in Mulranny on a family holiday (3 children aged 3, 6 & 8) and cycled the greenway on several occasions starting in Mulranny- heading east towards Newport and also west towards achill. This part of the Greenway is all offroad and is very safe with not much of a gradient - so suitable for young children.
